Track changes in ipad

The Dataviz website describes the difference between Basic and Premium : Premium's added features are cloud integration (Dropbox, Google Docs, etc) and ability to read PowerPoint. According to them, anything you can do with a Word document you can do in Basic and Premium.

If you're not sure which to get, you can buy the Basic and then purchase the Premium upgrade as an in-app purchase.

It also integrates beautifully with Dropbox.

Sounds good but appears not to be available in some countries yet. Eg Australia.

If you can work remotely in Word, accessing your Mac/PC from your iPad, you can edit the document with track changes. Connexion delays make this option rather impractical, though. Alternatively, you could edit the file on the iPad, email it to yourself, open it remotely in Word on your PC, and do a File Compare (to the unedited file), which would produce a file showing the changes.

Track change functionality is coming in Office2 HD. It's due out in early June.

My company has developed an app allowing track changes in MS Word docs. Anyone interested in Beta testing please contact me at dsediting@gmail.com.

And with no announcement whatsoever Office2 HD has now implemented Tracked Changes and Comments into its office equivalent - looks good too.

QuickOffice Pro HD for the iPad was recently updated to include Track Changes functionality. Give that a try, it works fine for my uses.
