High Pitch Audio Problem on FaceTime iPad 2
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could help,
My girlfriend and I use Facetime a lot to keep in touch as we are currently studying apart from one another, she has an iPad 2 and I have a Macbook Pro (Late 2011). Very recently she has heard numerous times the audio on her end in a call go high pitch, she describes it like this, "It's like you've taken a very big dose of helium and your voice is all high pitch and there's a static noise in the background too..."
Now me being me, I've tested this extensivly to see what the problem could be, as I feared it could be my Mac's Mic, however, this isn't the case, I've used an external microphone, and we've Facetimed using my iPhone 4 to her iPad to test different microphones as I thought this was the problem. Yet the issue pursits! No matter what I do, it keeps happening, and there can't be the same issue with all my mics.
So my question is... has anyone else encounted this? If so how did you fix it? Is this worth troubling Apple with? Lastly, is this an issue with the iPad?
Thanks for reading, all comments and suggestions are really really appritated!
