Works ok on mine, which is synced via iCloud.
Have you tried closing the Calendar app completely and seeing if you can view March 2013 when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Calendar 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Calendar app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Thanks but I tried that. If nobody else has the problem I will probably just restore.
I also have this problem on the iPad 3, it doesn't bother me TOO much at the moment though.
This is clearly a bug. My wife gets exactly the same problem. Month view of Mar 2013 crashes the app. Year, Day and Week views seem OK. Turn off synch to Exchange mail account - problem goes. Turn synch back on - problem returns. No amount of cancelling multitasking apps and hard resetting makes any difference. No problem on iPhone 4.
Looking at the growing amount of feedback on this it's about time it was taken more seriously by Apple. If you are having similar problems please help by posting. The more evidence presented the less risk of being brushed off
I can.
I get the same - Month view (only) of March 2013 causes tha app to terminate immediately. This happens on my iPad when my Exchange calendar is visible, and on my wife's iPad when my Google calendar (which is synchronised to my Exchange calendar) is visible. However, I don't have any events in this calendar except for a test event that I added using the web interface while investigating this problem - so I don't know what is upsetting the iPads about it.
All other calendar views of March 2013 work fine - it is only the month view that causes the calendar app to terminate.

I can too.
I have the same problem. March 2013, in month view only, dumps me back to the home page (calendar keeps running as an app), on my iPad 3 64GB. I can view March 2013 dates fine in week view, and also in any view on my iPhone 4S 64GB, which is synced to exactly the same calendar. iOS 5.1.1 on both devices.
It's caused by a bug because of daylight saving time adjustment on 31st March in to 1st April.
As a fix, delete any all day events you have for 1st April 2013. You can add them to a time i.e. mid-day to replace them.
Once there are no all day events on 01/04/2013 March will open in all views.
Let me know how you get on.
It works fine for me, can see all recurring appointments during and after March 2013. I don't believe it is a bug.
Deleting my 1st April all day appointment (which actually I no-longer need anyway) fixed it, thanks!
That was an extremely helpful tip.
David
Thanks so much Big Al - your suggestion fixed the bug instantly!
To 'Larry from VA':
Thanks so much for your helpful contribution. By the same 'reasoning':
I have met someone called 'Larry', but I have never met you. Therefore I don't believe you exist.
Perhaps think before you write? Although I understand that your rationale is something of a 'tradition' on Mac support forums?!
Thanks again, Al!
Thanks. Though not ideal it did sort the issue.
Thanks for the "Sarcastic" response. I have appointments scheduled for 1 April 2013 yet the app does not crash for me and I can see all further appointments. If it were a software bug and since I'm running the same IOS on a 64GB iPad 3 I should have the same issue. Saying that makes me "believe" it is not a bug but obviously I couldn't say it definitively either. Keep the mud slinging to yourself in the future.....
Larry, you say you have appointments on 1st April 2013 and don't see the crash, but I believe it only occurs with whole day appointments. This is certainly the case on my iPad. Do you have any whole day appointments on that day (i.e. start date and end date, but no start time or end time)?
