Case option for your New iPad
I recently bought the Versavu by Targus, it's the one with the 360° rotating stand and it's fits the device like a glove.

The New iPad
Update -
Now to add even more protection when transporting my New iPad I bought the 10.2" Targus Zamba notebook sleeve (available in a variety of colors). While in the Versavu both fit securely in the Zamba.

I tried the Versavu and returned it after less than a day. The typing position is very weak, no support.
I'm taking my Targus Vuscape back tomorrow. Just got my new iPad and I don't like how the side that fits into the slots for standing up sort of flops with no support while in the reading position. I think I can do better.
I really like my Versavu for my new iPad. I had it for my iPad 2 as well. There is an issue with the on/off magnet on the new case, but it's not an option I felt was important in the first place. I'm perfectly capable of using the home button to turn my screen on and off. I don't really type on it much as I have a Zagg bluetooth keyboard. What was really important to me is the ability to easily rotate between portrait and landscape and there aren't many options as well done as the Targus. Now, the smell in the new case? Wow, whatever glue they used is pretty strong, but I'm hoping it will diminish quickly.
BTW., I also have the Zagg Folio for my new iPad. I didn't like the case, because protrait is important to me and you have to remove the iPad from the case, which is difficult to do at best. I do like the keyboard. So, I'm using the Zagg keyboard and the Targus case, which for me is a perfect combination.
Isn't it interesting how opinions vary. Do let us know if you find (in your opinion) a better one.
I decided to go in a different direction - the Seidio Active. Less of the portfolio look, more of a hardcase and sturdier - carrying it around school and using it on the exercise bike, this worked better for me. Plus I found it in my college colors on sale for about 20 bucks off. :-)
Check out this link. It isn't yet made for the New iPad, but I saw one the other day on iPad 2 and was so impressed it with that I called the company. I may just have to get this when it's ready for new iPad.
@ rbrylawski. FYI. . .
The Versavu does not have the magnetic on/off feature.
Actually, for the new iPad it does. It just doesn't work and sometime in the next 6 weeks, Targus will be sending a free replacement. It turns out Apple change the polarity of the magnet on the front of iPad, which Targus was not aware of. If you go to the Targus site, you won't see the feature, because Targus took down mention of it. But, go out to Amazon and read about 10 pages of reviews of customers and a statement from Targus stating they're aware of the issues and are going to make it right for their customers.
Well, I base my points on what their website states, refer to the " View Comparison Chart " and find that the Versavu does not have the magnetic on/off. My second point of reference is that i own the Versavu and I can assure you that it does not have this feature.
Perhaps you are confusing it with the Vuscape.
William, I'm not going to argue with you. I already said they took the feature off the website because Targus acknowledges the feature doesn't work on the new case. However, the box the case comes in clearly shows the feature and while it can be made to work (yes, I've tried it on my device), it's not consistent because Apple changed the polarity. And again, if you really want to know, go out to Amazon and read the many pages of comments from customers about this feature not working and you'll also see a comment directly from Targus Customer Support saying they are aware of the issue and a revised case will be out in 6 or so weeks. So, believe what you want, but it was designed this time around with the on/off feature (which btw., does work on our other iPad 2).
William......click this link and read all about it the versavu and the magnet issue........

Odd, on my packaging there is no mention of the magnetic on/off feature. 😮
Are you sure you purchased the Versavu for iPad 3rd Generation? On the packaging for it is says:
for iPad 3rd Generation. And on the left side of the package it says:

Easy-to-clean exterior
Then below that it has three square boxes:
Magnetic ON/OFF (with a picture of a magnet)
Portrait or Landscape view
Soft-Touch Lining
The model is THZ156US-50
I bought my Versavu in Hong Kong - - www.targus.com/hk/ipad/index.asp
Maybe Targus HK got it right!
Regardless, the point being. . . the Versavu is a great case for the New iPad.
