Automatic sync. Between iphone and ipad?

You can't. You can turn on automatic downloads so that whatever you download on the one device will download on the other one -Settings>Store>Automatic Downloads>On. You can do this for music, apps and books.

If you want content that is on the phone to be transferred to the iPad or the other way around, you need to use iTunes - or just download it again, if it is available where you live.

Which files in question do you want to sync? If you're wanting to sync photos, music or documents with your devices, iCloud is provided with all devices running iOS 5 and above. Go to Settings > iCloud and enable iCloud services for the items you need to sync. From there, your other devices would sync automatically with your iPhone/iPad.

Hi Demo, you mentioned that we can use itunes to sync the content between iphone and ipad.

How to do it?

From my understanding, we need to first transfer the content on the iphone to the computer then transfer the content to ipad.

If I want to sync the content in a budget app on the ipad to the iphone, should i click "file>transfer purchase" in itunes?

or should i connect my ipad to the computer using usb cable, then click "apply" under the Apps tab in itunes.
