Safari Top Sites won't show Paypal after reset

So I recently did a Safari reset for an unrelated issue. And now my top sites page won't show my Paypal preview thumbnail. All I see the black square with compass logo.

I tried resetting Safari again making sure to "remove web page previews". I also tried the usual repair permissions, rebooting and even trashing safari.plist from library and even deleting the Paypal from the top sites then adding it back.

All my other sites previews came back once I clicked on the page and it loaded, it would then show the preview but the Paypal one won't even though the link takes me to Paypal as it should.

Hi ...

Go to ~/Library/Safari

Move the TopStes.plist file from the Safari folder to the Trash.

Quit then relaunch Safari.

To add a page to Top Sites.

On the Top Sites page, click the Edit button. Then do any of the following:

  • Open the webpage in a second Safari window, highlight the page’s address in the address field, and drag the address to the Top Sites page.
  • Drag a link from an email message, text document, webpage, or other source to the Top Sites page.
  • Type the address in a document, highlight it, and drag it to the Top Sites page.

When you are finished adding pages, click Done.

Thank you but this one of the things I already tried. It really surprised me when this did not work. It's almost like Paypal does not allow the image to be captured.

I wish I knew where and what file the images were stored in, at least I could then take a look and see if that file is corrupted or something. That .plist file is text only and contains no images.
