I have a first generation iPad. But for some reason it won't update to IOS 5.1... Can anyone help me?

What is happening? You neeed to explain further what you have tried and what is not working.

If you are currently running iOS 5.01, you can update to iOS 5.1 over wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

I have a first generation that won't update past iOS 5.1.1. Is that the latestest for this iPad?
