when i sign in on my gmail app it says "no offline messages" how can i change it?

i have iphone 4s and install gmail app, but now when i sign in it says "no offline messages" how can i change it?

Open the Gmail App and select the icon in the bottom left corner to "Manage Accounts." Toggle the "ON/OFF" switch to the "OFF" position. Select "Done." Automatically the screen will refresh. The "ON/OFF" switch should now be in the "OFF" position. Tap the switch again to return to the "ON" position. Select "Done."


If the problem persists, uninstall the Gmail App by holding your finger on the Gmail icon until an "X" is displayed in the upper left corner. Tap the "X" and confirm that you want to delete the app. Restart your iOS device and reinstall the app. Repeat the steps above if necessary.
