Simple question. Can I upgrade past the 8800GT on the 2008 8 core Pro?
If its only possible with some mods, that's fine by me. I just didnt know if later GPU's in the newer Mac Pro's will work 100%.
Anyone know? Maybe a list of what WILL work? Thanks!

Working on both os x 10.6.8 and os x 10.10.4 with a MacPro 3,1 I am facing the problem that Photoshop cc under Yosemite demands highter resources from the graphics card.
Now would the NVIDIA Quadro 4000 work on both systems?
Can I just install the driver under both systems, then add the card to my existing ATI Raedon HD 2600 XT?
Sorry for my innocence, this is a jungle to me.
