.BAH Folders

.BAH Folders

I am currently freeing up some space on my HD by deleting old unused files w/ OmniDiskSweeper. I came across some strange folders starting with .BAH (after the BAH, they have a 3 digit number tacked on to them). I can only see these folders through OmniDiskSweeper, not through finder or spotlight so I am assuming they are "hidden" folders. Within them are files that I recognize but haven't used (and likely deleted) looooong ago. Some are taking up a significant amount of space. I was wondering if it is safe to delete these mystery folders from my HD. Thanks.

It seems to me like these folders appear after watching a slideshow from within the finder. everytime i watch a slideshow in the finder i will afterwards have a .BAHXXX folder with a copy of all the pictures i watched in it.

for me the files referred to a couple of things. a few of them related to a game demo i downloaded a long time ago. others related to some arcade fire music videos i vaguely remember downloading back in the fall. strange.
