how do i eject my camera from my iMac?
Just bought my first Mac. Very frustrated. Downloaded videos from my video camera, and now can't figure out how to eject it safely from the computer.
iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

If it is just a video camera that doesn't mount a disk that you manipulate in the Finder, just disconnect it. If a disk isn't mounted, there isn't any need to "safely" eject it. Safely ejecting is to prevent you removing a drive while there are still write operations pending. If there isn't a disk, there are no writes pending.
If it is supposed to mount a disk, then there might be a problem with it's interface with Lion.
Can you see an icon on the deskop? Then click on it and go 'command-e'
