Using AE in 2 WiFi Networks

Hi, i bought myself an AE yesterday, considering i have 2 WiFi networks in which i want to use the gadget (for Airplay) - is there any possibility of choosing an "enviroment" setting, like on the mac book in the WiFi settings?! or do i have to install the AE new everytime i change from one WiFi to the other?!

You can use the "manage profiles" feature in the base station menu within the menu bar next to edit. It can only be configured while in assisted setup or manual setup so make sure to chose one of those options before configuring. Also be aware that the profile will need to be updated before disconnecting from the current wifi network and moving it to the location of the future connection.

Unfortunately i have 2 wifi networks at home, one for the living area, and one for the garden - i know it would be easier if it were one, but that doesnt work! so basically i want to be able to use the same AE for both areas - the setup of the routers is the same, just the name is different. i had a look into the options in the airport utility, but i cant find anything that i could change! the next problem is, that my second imac, which is located near the garden cant even find tha AE!! any ideas?! or is it too complicated / not possible what i want to do?! would be a shame..

Ya you should never really run two separate WiFi networks within one location. What you would want to do is have one router for the living area with DHCP enabled so that it is the device that assigns IP addresses, the other wireless router would have DHCP disabled and would operate in an access point mode. You would be configuring something called a "roaming network", as for the network names and wireless passwords the routers used would be exactly the same. That would allow you to operate a site wide wireless network that uses the same local area network, thus devices on the garden network would be able to communicate with devices in the living area and vice versa.
