How successful is your book?

I'm curious how to measure success on the ibookstore. It's not like the app store where you can see how your app is doing be ranking by mos popular etc.

My book Natural Portraits gets about 100 free downloads a day, and I am number 1 in the new and noteworthy section of photography, but how do I measure how successful that is against other books? When I have created a free app on the app store I've had thousands of downloads in a day, so it makes the book downloads look pretty low in comparison.

How many downloads are you getting and how are you measuring your success?

I have 35 books available about various educational topics - some are free others are very inexpensive. The An iBuild Opportunity series is about building publications for the iTunes Bookstore

I also have a series to help ealry learners, autistic and downs syndrome students with vocabulary, spelling and more - the a2z4u&me series is a work in progress but has 3 titles available now

Please help support the books

Michi, I'm wondering how I see the perfomance of individual books in Sales and Trends. I've now loaded 3 books and don't know which book is trending or whether its just all of them. You must be able to differentiate and I've had a look at possible options but can't find any way to know which books are being downloaded. They are all unpaid. Thanks, FM

Now sure what you mean by 'convert', but if you mean pull a lever and be done, no. Making an app takes a magnitude of committent over making an ebook.

You can re-use the basic content, but know that it is more than common to be rejected during app review, and told to make a book instead, if you don't commit to something more than just repurposing the content.

As a perhaps interesting side-note, see:
