EE button on iTouch calculator

Has the new iTouch OS changed the way that the scientific calculator displays exponentials? For example previously you typed in 6.67 then hit the EE button then whatever number you wanted e.g. -11 and got the display 6.67E-11 then when you hit the = button you got 6.67e-11. Now it seems the sequence and display is different.

This is the calculator app that comes pre-loaded on the iTouch.

I agree is seems to be messed up. Mkae a report to Apple:

Yes they do. I would report it as a bug.
