Phone wont update to ios 5. Anybody out there got any suggestions?
iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.2
Do you have the latest iTunes? 10.6.1.... you need at least 10.5 to be able to go to 5.x... Just FYI** If you care about how your pictures are odered on your phone, you may want to wait. What version are you on now?
Got 10.6.1 but just cant seem to update to ios 5.1. normally it does it automatically.
hmm....Does iTunes see your phone? What errors are you getting?....and what version iOS is your phone on?
Yeah, phone syncs as it should. On ios 4.6.2 and not getting any errors reported. Just installed itunes on my laptop as my PC is dying. Have updated my mates 3GS today so i know it works. cant figure this one out at all!
hmmm... 4.6.2. Did you mean 4.2.6 Verizon ip4?... Yes, that is strange... You plug into pc and go into iTunes and hit Check for Updates at the top?...
Sorry, been away for a few days but thanks for your help so far 🙂 Yes, tried to check for updates but it says that 4.2.6 is the latest version. The phone is a 3GS. Bought 2nd hand, so maybe somebody has buggered about with it in the past!
