sync session failed to start

When attempting to sync my iPhone 4S it stays stuck on step 1/5 "starting sync session" and after 5 minutes times out and gives me the error "iPhone could not sync because the sync session failed to start."

I'm running the latest version of 10.7 on my iMac and iOS 5.1

I sync most content with iCloud and iTunes match but need to sync a couple iPhoto albums and ringtones to the phone,

So far I have

-hard reset the phone

-DFU restored the phone (set up as new afterwards)

-Uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes

-deleted mobilesync files in library folder

-Replaced the iPhone at the genius bar

Still no luck, any suggestions????

Thanks!

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1

1. Double Tap Home Button

2. Close all the Running Apps

3. Press the Home Button Again

( Time to do a soft boot )

4. Press the Home button at the same time the Sleep Button for 10 seconds

5. Wait for the Apple Logo to appear and let the reboot done.

After doing this, Im able to Sync now my Iphone 4s with my Itunes. And Luckily, its fixed my problem to in installing Apps from the Phone Itunes Store but wont show on the HomeScreen.
