ABC Player app is not working

@Jrlett... I bought my wife her IPAD for christmas and I just picked mine up last weekend. We both installed the ABC app this week. On her IPAD it works fine, but on my IPAD I get the black screen of death. We both have the same OS version and number. I have done most of what everyone above has said, but I do not think it is an earlier version of the app vs a new version of the app. Based on my situation that is. I think we just have to wait for ABC to fix this.

Thanks for the info. It's about time they updated their app. Their list of unhappy customers was growing by the day.

I'm having the exact same problem.

the app works fine, so a reset as described about should do it. I just opened and played the beginning of a show. worked fine.

I'm having exact problem. I reset iPad and still abc orange page and then a blank black screen loads. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Same with me. ipad2 + abc player = black screen

Could it have something to do with Optimum as the server? My friend had no trouble getting hers to work yesterday but she has verizon?

Its possible. I just opened mine and it initially balked, then opened fine. So I don't think it's the app as a whole but local issues, maybe with a server or ip or the like.

I just tried the app and it works fine on the IPAD3. I haven't had any issue with it.

S1244.... Have you had the app for a while or did you recently dowload it?

Everyone who had this problem....UPDATE NOW!!! It works perfectly!!! SO glad it's fixed! :D
