The # character is already on the keypad. You have to tap the ".?123" shift button first, then the "#+=" shift key appears. Press that, and you'll get a lot of characters that are missing from the other two character sets.

Are you asking when it will be added? If so, you are not talking to Apple here - this is a user-to-user forum, so nobody can explain when Apple will add features in the future.
"No" is an abbreviation for the word number. The symbol for number is #. It's already on most keyboards.
I,would be surprised to see it added. It's not a common keyboard character.
