sorry philly_phan but it seems to me that 10 meaningless posts in one single thread are enough.... maybe you can open a proper one...
Maybe you can go away and make us all happy.
On a thread as ridiculous as this one, do you really think it is possible to be serious?

1. I've, so far, measured three iPad 1s from both Europe and the US. No radiation at all. Will publish an article after measuring another (promised) one.
2. as I've explained above, this kind of radiation is NOT dangerous unless you always keep your fingers on the screen. If you don't do it, then, you don't receive ANY radiation.

I have an Inspector Geiger counter and my Ipad 1 screen is radioactive, 2X background count (a beta emitter). The following video verified my measurements. I also went to an Apple store and measured some more Ipad 1's with similar results and also got very little measurement on the Ipad 2. Have not measured an Ipad 3 yet.

Apple management gave me the run around when I reported this to them.
1, Is that your video, after all?
if it is,
2, regarding alpha vs. beta, could you put a sheet of paper on the screen and re-run the test? It'd show whether it's alpha or beta. (Alpha radiation is readily stopped by a sheet of paper; beta needs at least an aluminum plate (like that of the back of the iPad, for that matter.)
lol best thread I've read in ages!!
Not my video, but I have tested 5 ipd 1's with the same results. My Geiger Counter is very sensitive (same as in the video) and my tests were for 10 min duration average as in the video. Paper (which blocks Alpha) did not block the readings,
Great! Could you create a list of all the serial numbers of these iPads (I'll also do the same to the iPad 1's that I've measured) - and possibly also post a video? It doesn't need to be well-done / edited, that is, you don't need to edit out long pauses.

Well then, don't use the iPad for 5 hours a day.
Problem solved.
Now please go away.
Actually, as I've pointed out above, you CAN use it even if it radiates. Just don't lay down your fingers on the screen. A distance of, say, 2-3" (7-10 cm) is absolutely safe.
The only sn # I have is for my own Ipad, the other Ipad's I tested were in the Apple store and from a passing friend.
I have not used my Ipad for some time and the battery is dead, I anm trying to charge so I can see the sn #.
I am also curious that you see no increase above beakgroung count on the Ipad 1's you measured. As I said my Geiger Counter is very sensitive. I got my Ipad before the Japan meltdown and the fact we have seen no significant CPM above backgroung on the Ipad 2's suggests a process change in making the touch screen. Maybe in the Gorilla Glass process.
Finally got sn # HW1xxxxxx.

Here's one of mine (no radiation):
Model: MC349TY (16GB 3G)
S/N: GB0xxxxxxxx
Will post the rest soon.

Here is another guy that measured a Ipad and also a Ipod.

My readings and the Youtube post are higher than the above, but we took readings over a 10 min period to improve accuracy. To get more accuracy readings (CPM) should be made over a longer time period.
