Q: New iPad shows incorrect cellular data usage statistics?

Yes. Same issue here on TMN from Portugal. I only use 200mb, and iPad says 1,5GB!!!

I have the same problem in Germany! My carrier says i have used about 150 mb from 3. to 10. April! ,my usage  says 6.7 gb! This happens when my Ipad is connected to wifi and is in standbymode over the night! Last night it was about 1.5 gb cellular usage but connected to wifi! Apple costumer care says they don't know the problem!

Definitely looks like iPad can't tell the difference between cellular and wifi.

I have the same problem - White 64GB iPad (3rd gen) with Verizon 4G. On Sunday I used it as a hotspot for the first time, and the Cellular Usage tells me I used over 30GB total, while Verizon says I only used 300MB. I just about had a heart attack! I hope they get this bug fixed soon!

Same here.  Verizon 4G 32gb New iPad.  The iPad showed roughly 4GB usage but Verizon had me at around 800mb.

Yep, I was shocked to see my usage in one week to be 8gb, on a 10gb UK Orange monthly allowance. On my new iPad. The wifi usage seems to incorrectly associated to cellular.
