When ever I launch my safari, it will stay on for about a minute and then quits on me. It has a "safari quit unexpectedly" dialog box with a bunch of codes that I can send a report to apple. im not very good with this kind of thing, plz help!

Im not very good at troubleshooting, but I have played around with the system preferences. My airport connection is fine as well as the ethernet. Firewall says its not connected, (im not sure if that matters or not?)

I have subtracted my network from the list, restarted, and then put it back and and restarted...nothing seems to be working. Iam in the middle of a correspondace course and i really need my internet back...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Alright, i did the repair permissions and safeboot, do i go onto the flashback part now? or do I leave that alone?

Yes, test if you have it, did you disable Java yet?

I just disabled java, but the whole checking flashback thing seems i bit high tech/ complicated for me (all the codes, ect)... I dont want to mess it up. do you have simpler, maybe step by step instructions for that? or would you suggest that I seek a professional to do it for me?

I dont know how to "start a terminal" or run the commands.

Lookfor Terminal in Applications>Ytilites, double click on it & once the Terminal Window opens, just copy & Paste those commands to the Terminal Window & hit ENTER.

alrighty, thanks alot AGAIN!, 🙂

so it came back as "command not found" not "does not exist"

am i still in the clear for no virus? or did i do it wrong?

if im in the clear, for that one: DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES am i good to go? or should i proceed to step 8 in the other link you sent, and check for the other terminals? (your almost rid of me) haha

No idea onthe terminal command problem, butif you paste here exactly what you pasted into Terminal it may be clarified.

GRRR.. silly technical computers..lol.. after doing the terminal check, i closed it, restarted my comp, and tried the internet...still not working. 😟
