Sorry for any duplication, but my search results have not come up with my particular scenario.
I have two Apple IDs - one personal that is used on my iPhone and one work ID used on my iPad. I have made many app purchases under my personal ID (gisele@personal.com) that I want to be able to use on my iPad (gisele@work.com).
How do I get the app purchases ONLY onto my iPad? I am not interested in syncing mail, calendars, music, etc.

Yes - you're correct and I should have thought of that. I'm sorry. You can't sync with two different computers. You have to consolidate the two iTunes libraries into one library on one computer.

This is going to take some work for you. You will have to find a way to get all of the content from the one computer's iTunes into the other one. When we chatted the other day - I was not aware of the fact that you were using two computers - but you did just say it in your last post and I just wasn't thinking.
ah....ok....I didn't read that link yet. Not sure I'll get to it today as I imagine it will take time and patience, both of which I am short of today 😀
Sorry I didn think of that earlier. You can transfer the purchases from the iPad into the other iTunes library or from the phone as well. You need to be signed into the other account on that computer, but it should work. According to Dah*veed, you need to authorize the computer for that ID as well.

Ok I have a question then. Can I login to my account on my mom's iPad and download something onto her iPad using my account?

Yes.
You would have to log out of her account and into yours. She would have to log back into hers before she could download anything else.
Also, she would not be able to update the app(s) that you installed (unless you logged back in).
