How do you report Phishing to Apple.

This is third time I've asked how you report Spam to Apple. First time was 2009. I can not believe a multi-billion dollar company such as apple doesn't have a Place to report Spam. Banks do CC companies, do even other software companies do.

THis paticular piece has a persons name and address and Name sent to my email. if you hover over the links its obvious it’s a phishing attempt.

I think its bad Apple is being so cavilier about such a serious threat to their profits.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Apple ID.

I just got a Phishing email asking me to confirm my iTunes account. I sent it both to the reportphishing@apple.com and the legal page .

It has the Apple logo but is addressed to Dear Customer and has the word letter spelled as the Europeans spell it "Lettre" . It claims it is from Apple Security .

I hope Apple gets on this one fast before some one who is tired or not thinking responds to this email .

It looks like it could have come from Apple.

Usually it's obvious... Poorly made website, bad english and/or grammar, asking for information you wouldn't expect to be asked for, pixalised imagines. There's lots of obvious red flags.

How do you know this isn't a phishing site? Well first off it's not asking you for anything and you didn't recieve the link in a spurious email. Secondly it's part of the apple.com domain, which of course we know belongs to Apple. Phishing sites usually have strange domains to say the least.

I don't know what else I can say really, it's just a knack of spotting them from experiance really.

I am running OS X Yosemite. The instructions for reporting phishing include this: Mail preferences; then to viewing; then show header detail. One is supposed to select All instead of Default. All does not appear in the dropdown, only default and custom. I went to custom and could not figure out how to proceed. I left it at Default and forwarded the message via regular email.
