Iphone 4s call recording

Hello, the policy of my company is to record all incoming and outcoming calls.

If we can do that with Iphone 4s, we'll supply the whole team.

We operate in Europe, Russia and Asia.

According to the local legislation call recording is NOT prohibited.

How can we organise the matter?

Thank you!

Freedom, in this case, is the right to be free from unlawful monitoring and recording of conversations one believes to be private. In most of the US, call recording is illegal without specific warnings and disclaimers presented to both parties at timed intervals.

The ability of an app to interact with the phone in this way would seriously compromise the security of the device.

Maybe you should look into Android if this feature is critical to you.

I see.

However, may I explain my idea and my point of view?

A part of the world says that its prohibited to record a call, as you correctly said. Some states and countries. The other part feels free to do that. And not giving this option is loosing some part of the market and customers.

So, the question is: how to make it possible, fullfiling the law requirements?

Easy.

We can mark ares on the map, where call recording is OK. Like the places, we operate in. It can be simply checked by GPS.

Also, we can mark the telephone codes, which we can not record. Easy.

So, we make an app.

Appstore policy is to check every app to be uploaded there to be sure that its made according to some tech requirements, the law and maybe some other points.

Apple checks the app - and its officially in Appstore.

How can we offer that Apple? 🙂

Why don't you develop the app and submit it to the app store? See if it passes muster with Apple. It only costs $99 to join the developers program. I don't think you could do it, based on the restrictions against using private APIs in your code, but I'm not a hard core iOS developer. Maybe there is a way you could get it to work. The ones in the app store now are garbage, so I'm sure there would be a market for it.

You are not talking to Apple here. This is strictly a user to user forum.
