I just let mine 'sleep' instead of powering down. but it's your prerogative. You don't have to power it down, it can work just find sleeping for days/weeks on end.


About the only issue I can think of or difference between powering down and sleeping, if you have a lot of notifications or pushing/fetching of e-mail, your device can be exchanging data all night which could run your battery down a bit, but shouldn't be too much.


I personally feel that any electronic device benefits from occasionally being powered down and allowed to reset itself, but that's just my personal preference
