Hey… where's Dashcode go?

So I installed a newer Xcode from the App Store. When it finished it asked if I wanted to delete the old /Developer folder and I agreed. Now wouldn't you know... Dashcode is gone! Evidently the Xcode app is all there is, and it is installed in the /Applications folder. Does this mean all Developer tools such as the GCC compiler have to be installed separately? What's the full story and where do I get Dashcode?

Use Xcode's 'Open Developer Tool/More tools menu to install Dashscode, etc. and prefs to install components.

Unfortunately I discovered a bug in Xcode (reported as #11251143) that prevents me from getting to the actual download URL. Could you please post it here?

I tried this yesterday, however when I try to download the DMG I get a modal dialog that can't be closed. It ends with "I have read, understood, and agree to the Usage Agreement.". It seems like there should be a button on the bottom to agree but there is none, only whitespace. This happens in Safari, which you would think the Apple website would work in. I wonder if it is another bug. Argh! I am beginning to wish I hadn't updated Xcode.

Quit the following:

- Xcode

- Simulator

- iTunes

- Application Loader

- Use Activity Monitor to quit iTunes Helper

Use Disk Utility to Repair Permissions

If you're on a Wi-Fi network, use wired instead.

...then try again

Can anyone else tell me what they are seeing? Are there any buttons to either agree with the dialog or close it?

This is going to hilarious you all out of the ballpark... I logged in using Google Chrome and the page worked, although the buttons were halfway obscured. You would think Apple could make it work in their own browser.

Here is what I see in Safari:

Here is what I see in Firefox:

And here is what I see in Chrome:

This means all 3 browsers fail in the same way, and only one is an Apple browser.

Thanks for that tip, I opened the page in Safari 5.1.5 and this is what I see:

So by trial and error I was able to download Dashcode even though the buttons were barely visible. It seems that something in the newer software breaks the page in all 3 browsers. Pretty strange.
