I am trying to copy a purchased app on my computer from iTunes to the iPhone. Whenever I try this, the iPhone is trying to sync apps that I only use on the iPad (universal) onto the iPhone. The end result is always seeing these apps on the iPhone which I have to end up deleting over and over again.
I don't want it to do this. How do I stop it from doing this?
Connect your iPhone to Computer. Select your iPhone under "Devices" on the left Pane. On the right Pane, select APPS tab.
Scroll through Apps and uncheck the box(es) for those App you don't want to be Synced over so that iTunes will remember it. Then click the APPLY button on the lower right window.
That's exactly what I want to avoid. That area where I have to click the checkmarks is painfully slow on my computer.
That's the only method? And why aren't the apps on the iPhone the ones that are selected in the iTunes area (on the computer)? Why is it checkmarking the apps that are currently on my iPad?
It will ONLY syc what you have selected.
If you do not want it on the iphone, then do not select it to sync.
