Control ipad from iphone

There is an app called rowmote pro which does exactly what you want. It even has a trackpad on the iphone but is an app that works on the ipad.

The rowmote app controls you Mac from iOS not iOS to iOS.

I was just researching this myself and found MovieRemoteKids. It lets you control video playback from iOS to iOS device via bluetooth. Downside is the videos have to be loaded into the app from iTunes and it can't se preloaded videos in the iOS video app. It also has to be DRM free videos.

I just purchased it and the connection from iPhone to iPad is great. No videos on my iPad to test, but it looks fantastic if this is what you are looking for - it is exactly what I was looking for - it will be great when traveling and the iPad is playing videos in the back seat and something new has to be started.

Does it work using Netflix?

this is exactly what I am looking for, is there an update for whether there is an app available in today's app store, obviously this post is around 5 years old.
