iPhone app 'The Vault' won't open, I'm locked out of my passwords, help

I downloaded an app called "the vault - secure document and data storage" I recently updated it and now the app crashes every time i enter the last digit of my password. I tried to find the app on itunes to contact the creators but now I can't find it and when ever I google the apps name the apple.com link to the app gives me an error saying the app is no longer available.

Does anyone happen to know how I could contact the makers of the app so I can try to contact them and get some help getting into the app that saves all my passwords? or maybe a work around so I can get in and write them all down to transfer to a new app?

I had the same problem.

When you want to recover from an iTunes backup:

I've found an old iTunes backup on my MacBook and opened it via the amazing MacOS App iMazing (https://imazing.com/) - I've bought a license to unlock stuff.
Then I've browsed in iMazing to: [backup folder] > File System > Apps > AppDomain-com.flowever.iVault > Documents > .__@__@file@__@__
and there were all my photos unencrypted for me to extract.

When recovering from iCloud Backup:

I've bought iPhone Data Recovery (https://www.fonepaw.com/store/buy-mac-iphone-data-recovery.html?os=m&p=2) instead.
Downloaded the latest pre iOS 11 backup from the list
Chose only to download Media > App Photos
It downloaded for a while
Then I only selected App Photos > flowever.iVault and saved it to my MacBook

Hope this helps for you. I've used the apps I mentioned above, but there're a lot more of those apps. So whichever works best for you. I had problems with the app PhoneRescue though (after buying a license 😟)

I also have this issue and am overseas. All my secure data is stored in iVault and dince updating my phone I can not access the information! This is a nightmare for me.

Did you have anybluck finding a dolution?

Most helpful. I hope very much that this resolved soon. It has compromised my ability to work and travel. Very frustrating indeed.

Checking another thread about the same issue I found this link: http://sites.google.com/site/thevaulthelp/

it says the developer of the app aknowledges the problem and is working on fixing it and in the mean time pulled the app from the U.S. app store in order to avoid people from downloading a broken app.

also the site claims that he was granted a review on the update from apple yesterday so hopefully iy gets fixed soon.

this update is for the 20 something people that have clicked the "i have this questions too" but don't know whats going on
