Printing Issues

I have a Mac Book Pro running on OS X 10.7.3. Up until a few days ago I was able to use the Sharp AR-M201 network printer at work with no issues. A couple of days back there was a software update and since then every time I send a document to print it prints a "Printer Error Page" with the following remarks - "Error: PostScript printing not licensed for this printer."

The IT guy at work has reinstalled the drivers for this printer and configured it the same way as before. He called Sharp, who said we need to buy a license, but why when it worked perfectly well before this update?

I hope that someone here can identify the issue and support me getting the printer configured to work again, baring in mind it worked perfectly well before I updated the software on my Mac only a few days back.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have macbook air running OSX 10.7.3 and sharp AR-M201.

I am not able to print using mac (on windows it works fine). I have downloaded the latest software driver from the sharp website. Whenever I give a print command the driver opens up and it just keeps saying that sending document for printing but nothing happens.

The guys from sharp says that macbook is not supported and I have to install an optional accessory called AR NB 10. I doubt that he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.
