Hello, I am trying to verify my new apple id. I have ensured that my email address is correct, and have gotten the notification, both from the Ipad and from a desktop that a verification email has been sent. But I have never received one. I would really like to be able to utilize this for work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have already followed those instructions. No email has been sent to my email address, including the spam box.
Ok... see if you can download a free app. You'll be asked for your Apple ID password. The verification emails from Apple can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours.
If you can download a free app, it's ok to use your account.
Good rule of thumb for the sake of security is to change your Apple ID password on a timely basis.
Cannot download free apps yet. It says I need to verify my I'd. Looks like I will be waiting a day or so. Thank you!

I'm having the same problem. I have been waiting for about 4 hours.... I'll just wait longer I guess.
This is an EXCELLENT way to convince all of us Android / PC folk that buying a $600 Apple product was a good idea. This system should be automated and INSTANT! What is this, the early 90's?

I received the verification about 11 hours after I originally registered. Apple needs to bet better at this.
I finally received the verification email about an hour ago. I had to request it again. It only took about ten tries and several hours.

I've also been waiting approx. four hours for my verification email to arrive. I've had it "re-sent" several times, still nothing.
I ended up receiving my email several hours later. Since I hit send so many times. I received a LOT of emails. I'd suggest the wait and see method.
I am a new apple user, I made a password mistake. I tried several times to get a password reset email with no luck.
I finally checked my alternate email address and there they were.
OH CRAP looks like I'll be getting a lot of emails in the future... What the **** is this, 2003?
