My iPod MUSIC menu is not highlighted after syncing with my iMac 10.4.11 and can't add or delete any songs.

Why is my new(er) iPod 8MB Music Menu not highlighted after syncing with my iMac 10.4.11??

I'm the one with egg all over my face! I get older and dumber, I did select "Manual' but I was hitting Restore after that. Sorry for trying your patience and sticking with me. It worked! Embarrassed, Jim
