Great new Apple motto 'Too big and successful to care - if it ain't broke, don't fix it'

One of the great things about Apple is that they actually do care. I once bought something by accident (an e-book rather than audio book) and shot them an e-mail. I got a nice e-mail from a person the next day and a refund... and then a follow up email asking if there was anything else they could help with.

I was amazed as almost all other large organisation i've dealt with just ignore you or shoot you their T&Cs.

It would be great if they bloody worked properly, getting sick of this ipad 3, it's sitting there looking so nice, little did i know the wifi & 3g are faulty and won't work, cheers for the replies though guys yeah...

What does your whine have to do with security?

In this case threadjacking is a good thing. Let this thread, the overheating thread, the Flash threads all spiral off into nonsense. I believe the moderators are letting these become dumping grounds for the OCD crowds who have to constantly bark about something.

I think you're right.

The further the discussion is going, I'm

Feeling the increased urge not to answer the security questions if prompted.

Why? The legislation proposed by Michael Rogers last year.... CISPA. It has been enacted onto the American constitution.

To sum up the concept of CISPA, it basically gives the US government the ability to have access to databases of American companies WITHOUT THE NEED OF A SEARCH WARRANT. So anywhere along the line where the US government feels something is *against sexurity* they can just mine the databases of these companies with the exception of a few to look at the data...

I certainly hope Obama vetoed this crap but it's passed in law.

Why the **** should the world's data be inspected by the US? Every country has its own government and agencies to handle its own issues.

Plus, the way these questions are pointed are extremely scary. They're pointed questions. No doubt the actual intent is to allow Apple customers to tell more about themselves... Even after billling details...

These are extra reasons people shouldn't comply, especially non-Americans.

lol OCD crowds? What are you even talking about you arrogant random person, no my problem is I bought an expensive product for work that has completely put me off buying another apple product. I've never had a problem with apple so stop assuming things, I'm sorry I almost choked on your ego. I'm a head chef of a restaurant and wasn't happy that is all. Agreed I posted in the wrong place but my mistake, sorry for not being as perfect as you.
