I just purchased a macbook pro, I need to remote into work, they use windows, how do I do this? every thing so far tells me windows to mac I need mac to windows.

Just look at the time I have been on this site the the points I have accumulated for helping people. Tells the whole story.


Simple if I worked in and environment that used only Windows I would buy and use a Windows PC for work. Like I do now.


Yes I own a MBP and use it daily but not in my Work place.

Can we drop this? Obviously Shootist007 has helped a lot of people. His answer is technically correct. If you want maximum compatibility with Windows, and your livelyhood depends on it, you should really use Windows. Some work environments require hardware encryption/access devices that work only on Windows. If you are spending your own money, and are willing to take the risk, you usually can get away with using a Mac. Your work IT is unlikely to help with that, but we will.
