When I tried to start my Ipod touch 2g, the boot logo didn't appeared and the screen was only white.
Later Itunes showed that my Ipod was on, but the screen was again only white.
When I pressed the Lock Button the screen gets black and when I press again it gets again white.
It also made voice when I press a button or tried to unlock it so I think the touchscreen has nothing.
Please help me soon.

drain the battery
If iTunes sees the iPod restore it by iTunes. First from backup and it problem ersists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
i tried that but no reaction
and i don't know how to drain the battery

just let itself die unplugged, a white screen plus the brightness will drain the battery

wait it worked a bit i can see it flackering and i kan see hardly a bit of the interface and i can launch apps what now ?
talk to the Best Buy apple people to help you out more, or make a appointment with the guinus bar

np and that link u shared, ya, i would call that the white screen of death even thou i never heard of it before but ya never no like what happen in the erly versions of the xbox 360 getting the red ring of death.
have it plugged in and make a backup with itunes and then head over do with best buy apple people genuis bar
