If you mean that you aren't getting the reset link on your account then you don't have a rescue email address on your account, and you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions - you will need to contact Support in the country where you are, and which you have on your account, to get the questions reset.

Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699

When they've been reset you can then use the steps on this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5620

I can't reset my security questions. I no longer use my rescue email. I guess I won't be using their store. Whats weird is it still works for audible. When I first used ITunes, I was on my moms computer. I think I got my IPod in 2009. So its 4th generation. I don't remember security questions. And I've noticed they give me new security questions every time I try to answer them, so something must be going on. I guess I can just burn CDs onto ITunes, and not use their store. My sister said just don't use their store. Also I have 2 appleids. One is completely frozen. I'm not sure if my IPod is registered. I was spending too much money on ITunes anyway. At one point my old ID wasn't working for whatever reason, so I switched to another id, and now the second id is frozen because my password doesn't work. Confusing, huh. But I got my first ID to work.

I'm afraid to enter in my credit card number in case my account ever gets frozen again, and I cant access it. Which is why I will not be making anymore purchases from their store. I was trying to start over with my second ID so that it would be linked to my computer.

I WILL NOT purchase any other Apple products. I will never buy a mac,or IPad, or IPhone.

There is no way to deactivate my second ID without knowing the security questions. So my credit card information is just floating around.

Actually when I called Apple they said just to start over, but I purchased like 200 dollars over 3 year period buying music. I was very loyal, until now.

Would anybody like to help???

PS. I wasted 2 hours talking to 1800MYAPPLE trying to prove it was me. Eventhough they said they believed me, but they needed the answers to the security questions.

From the bottom of : If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions

If you can't reset your security questions

Contact Apple Support in either of these circumstances:

  • You don't see the link to send a reset email, which means you don't have a rescue address.
  • You see the link to send a reset email, but you don't have access to email at the rescue address.

A temporary support PIN isn't usually required, but Apple may ask you to generate a PIN if your identity needs to be verified.

As long as you contact support in your country via the link for them on that page, and you can prove your id to them and that it's your account, then they should be able to reset your security questions.

If your country isn't on that page then try this form and explain and see what they reply with : https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
