Right, I too use Pages in combination with the now ending iWork.com, which is used solely for the distribution work which often, has been created from scratch on the iPad (reports done on flights etc)...
The replacement service (iCloud) is really offering nothing the same as I see it, the last thing I want to be able to do is sync between my own devices - I can do that very easily myself.... what we need to be able to do is to send documents to others...
Why not share via email you ask? Well, we have a shard iPad and so adding any one person's email account to the device itself is out of the picture, and no logon sessions for iPad unfortunately (yet?) On this note, iWork you CAN login/logout from, so different users of the iPad can a) send from their own addresses & b) Use their own address books (iWork is syncing nicely with our company servers somehow....
Basically it seems that apple is taking away the only real way for us to do this, without providing a replacement service...and as far as I can see this is the only way we have of doing it....
Dropbox is out of the question for us I think as it limits our access to files at work (it is prohibited at work), so any 'links' sent to it to external customers, may be ok, but not to ourselves - not really good enough again....
Peter you're a smarmy b*&(*rd aren't you....
