Using an iPad as a Bluetooth keyboard for a mac?

You can buy an iPad app like 'Mobile Mouse" it has a server that runs on rhe Mac and communicates with the IPad over the LAN It works well and avoids another bulky keyboard. BTW this works just as well with an iPhone.

I'm not aware of any way to do do this. There are, I believe, some apps that allow you to remote into a computer and control the desktop, but that's not quite what you are looking for.

First think would suggest is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart.

But you indicate that you have already done that. There an additional thing I would try

Say what?

Yeah, it means an extra expense, but even if you could hook up the iPad for that, the keyboard limitations would be an issue (keyboard functions for the iPad and the Mac are rather different).

But, can it sync via bluetooth?
