Using an iPad as a Bluetooth keyboard for a mac?

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a new iPad as a Bluetooth keyboard for a mac?

I am aware there are a few apps that claim to do this over wifi however I am looking for a Bluetooth solution that would be more permanent?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not aware of any way to do do this. There are, I believe, some apps that allow you to remote into a computer and control the desktop, but that's not quite what you are looking for.

Lol James, I was wondering what he was on about as well.

Yes that is not exactly what I was looking for, I was just seeing if there was an alternative to buying a wireless keyboard to hook my MacBook pro up to a big HDTV. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a wireless keyboard and trackpad then, I was hoping I could do that with my iPad but obviously not. Thanks anyway mate
