I want to connect a obd2 bluetooth device. Do i have to buy an android?

ELM 327 Bluetooth can be paired with Macbook Air.

Macbook Air can can cover that protocol. Also as application it has Movi from Yhasi or another to be looked for on Internet. Good luck!

Difficulty was probably not a factor in their decision. FTP isn't hard to implement either.

aint this a *****! lol. I just bought the elm327 mini and im finding out apple products wont "pair" or connect or even see this device!

I don't think it is, I just tried with my iPhone 5s and it doesn't see the elm327 at all as a device in Bluetooth or even wifi. I purchased two different apps though iTunes to try- money waisted

You keep saying you cleared all devices from the phone. I was asking if you had cleared all devices from the elm327 also.

According to the site for the device, and the apps they are mentioning, it does work with the iPhone. Which profile was it?

I bought my elm327 off of ebay, and it said it was ios capatible, but obviously it isn't.

According to the manufacturer it is not.
