Transferring photos from iPad to Mac?

If I place photos onto my iPad using the SD card adapter, how do I later transfer those photos from the iPad to my Mac?

Thanks.

One way is to connect the iPad to your Mac, locate them through Finder and copy (or cut) them to a folder on your Mac.

First, you can backup photos to the iCloud, and then you can download pictures from the, but it is slow, and very troublesome, you need to connected to the Internet, you can also use some tools to help youtransfer photos from ipad to Mac, because ipad devices is not allowed to direct transfer data to the Mac,it doesn't matter,After tons of comparison,I found that certain tools can help you transfer ipad data to your Mac,such as photos, text message, contacts, music, video and more easily!

It's really a very easy thing, you just need to use an iPad to Mac transfer to solve this. I always use Amacsoft iPad to Mac transfer to transfer photos from iPad to Mac, by the way, you can also use it to transfer other kind of files from iPad to Mac, like songs, movies and more. This how to transfer iPad photos from iPad to Mac would help, have a try, good luck!

For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page :http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083

For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

If you want to change the order of photos that you synced to the iPad from your computer then you need to do it on your computer and then re-sync them : iPad photo sorting. Once the photos are in an album on the iPad you can't change their order.

You can also create new photo albums directly on the iPad if you have iOS 8+ on it via the Edit button at the top right of the album selection screen, and the photos that you copy into those albums (you can't move you can only copy) will be sorted by the order that you them into them i.e. if you add a new photo to the album then it should appear as the last one.
