can you arch text or shape text in pages?

Yes you can!

Create individual test boxes for each letter. Then create a line or circle in the shape that you want your text to follow. Then hold down the command key and tilt each letter boxes until you have reached your final goal!

Another approach entirely in Pages (even easier in Numbers). Add text boxes (with Text Wrap set to none). Then drag into position and rotate them:

Update: The free version does not allow arching/curving text.

Probably want to group all Text boxes when done, so that the individuals don't wander off.

Yes you can arch the text in Art Text 2 Lite!
