The 232.9 GB is your actual boot drive hardware, the Macintosh HD is the boot partition.

Yes that's right, so you clicked First Aid > Repair Disk and it said it was ok right?

You should consider having a local PC/MAc specialist come to your place or you take your computer to them for repair.

Your problem is not that serious, it's looking like it's a easy fix, however your not familiar with computers and if it turns out to be a bit more serious than it appears, then they can make sure your data is secure also recommend a backup system.

Long story short new harddrive no help. Replaced harddrive replaced harddrive cable PROBLEM SOLVED. I now have my laptop back.

I had the same problem. I did replaced HDD cable and it's back to normal. On youtube "Laimutis M" videos on of them shows the step to do it.
