icloud mail down

Mine is down as well....

The iCloud IMAP server “p99-imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user “XXXX”

Enter your password again or cancel.

No access via iphone or web or mail.app

on iphone i get:

"Cannot Get Mail"

"The user name or password for "iCloud" is incorrect."

Truth is - it's not incorrect....arrrgh.

Seems to be back...thank goodnes...

I'm seeing a lot of "Cannot send message using the server 'myname' .Mac Account (iCloud)". One message that I composed 12 hours ago is still in that state.

I took another look and noticed that there was no MobileMe/iCloud server in the SMTP server list. Oddly, when I see the "Cannot send message" window the list of servers it offers me does show "<myname> .Mac Account (iCloud)". I added an SMTP server with these details:

- Server Name: smtp.mail.me.com

- Use default ports

- Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

- Authentication: Password

- User Name: <myid>@mac.com

- Password: my MobileMe/iCloud password

I migrated to iCloud a few days ago but until yesterday everything seems to have been working well.

Mine is still out...going on almost 8 hours now...

Having strife in Australia. This is a serious pain!

This is not an Australia wide problem. I have sent email, from another account, to my wife's me.com address. This was received without dificulty. But I have not been able to acces my email since late last night. Anyone out there know if Apple is woking to fix this?

I lost email today (9/11/12) has been out all day and into the evening almost 10 hours now..In Northern Colorado....something must have crashed .....ya think apple woulds at least post something about whats going on! Guess I will have to call if the cloud is still non operational in the morning.

My primary .mac/.me emal address is down, but an alternate one I set up back in the .mac days is still operational. Every machine (two iMacs, a MacBook, an iPad2 and an iPhone 4s) as well as logging directly into iCloud returns an error. What gives? A little ackowledgement at least would be a nice gesture - I do not have time to deal with the sh*t... and this is my PRIMARY email accout. Apple, are you listening?

My mail has beendown all day, too in NJ....

In Florida here...down all day. Tired of this. Seriously. Thought Apple was better than this. Was planning on preordering an iPhone tomorrow...rethinking that now.

i live in florida it has been working all day for me. Is ijust your in box or your send box that is not working?

Mine's been down all day in Atlanta-- since 7:02am.

Can send mail but cant receive.

Check it out your incoming server is different than mine... why is that?
