How do I update my software for my phone?

Hi there

I'm new to everything on my phone although I've had it for a year but now it's telling me to update my software and have no clue to how to do so.... If sone1 has the answer I would be ever so grate full as my speaker on my phone is not working probly and I think it may be down to updating the software. My phone is also becoming ever so slow at doing thinks and it's not changing when I reboot it :o( please some1 help me :'o(

Base on our IOS description you have the latest update which is 5.1.

You only do update if there is a new software update.

Some people do a restore as new if they have a corrupted backup (bad battery life) - you will lose all text message. But your able to sync back your contacts/photos/apps and music.

A reset, is like rebooting your PC.
