I need to set up another another alias email... but apparently, I can only do that from a computer, not from my iPad or iPhone. Is that right?

I need access to iCloud.com to check my calendar, when I am away from my computer. And now Apple tells me, I must not use one of their famous Internet capable devices for that purpose unless they are my own?!?

Reason I'm looking at this: I wanted to quickly check a date using somebody else's iPad and thought: "Yeah! I sync to iCloud. I have my calendar everywhere!" Boy was I embarrassed to not be able to. :(
