How do you remove a Blade cut?

If you cut a clip in the timeline with the Blade tool, how do you get rid of that cut (presuming it is too late to use Undo)?

Hey Tom, nothing personal, I came here looking for the answer to the question asked:

"If you cut a clip in the timeline with the Blade tool, how do you get rid of that cut (presuming it is too late to use Undo)?"

and the "this solved my question" answer is incorrect or misleading with the present software version. Not sure how to undo the "solved" box if ever.

I didn't know about simply deleting the cut, that's the bestest answer, I think! THANKS!

(there used to be an "undo cut" option if you right-clicked it in FC7 - why couldn't they just keep that? ah well)

You can't "undo" the solved status of this thread. And the original poster is the only one who can mark a thread solved.

More broadly, this is a great example of why it so usually better to start a new thread than to add to a very old one, The application has changed a lot since it was first released in 2011 and users who try to apply past solutions to current issues are often going to be confused when they get unexpected results from following those suggestions.
