i recently let my girlfriend used my apple id now im wondering if she can receive and read my text messages?

If she knows your password & uses your ID & password for iMessage, yes.
You can resolve this, when you delete your AppleID from your girlfriend's iPhone, turn off iMessage on her iPhone, restart her iPhone and turn iMessage on again.

well she knows my password but i dont use imessage in my iphone though its off.. well she still can read it?
i just did change my apple id password too! am i safe now? lol
She would need an iOS device to get your iMessages. She can't get regular SMS's or MMS's, as they have nothing to do with iMessage. Change your password & don't share it with anyone in the future.
