What is Going on with Angry Birds Space in App Store???

Same problem here with one addition: wihile Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio seem to be fine, Angry Birds Seasons now crashes immediately when I try to start it. All of them where bought at the Mac App Store. Anyone else with that problem?

Lately Angry Birds Space has crashed every time I open it, and then is fine the second time. There has been screen freezing. I also discovered that it is gone from the App store and from my purchase history. I would imagine all those error reports back to Apple have occasioned this and that if they clean up their act, we will see it back. It is very weird though because of course Apple, as usual, gives no clue in the App store why your purchases might be missing. Silence is the usual, and this time is no different. Back to Angry Birdies Rio! 😉

I didn't apply an update - so that's a good thing. My scores are intact. I can still play. But after the first freeze. I am still running Snow Leopard, the latest update, so I wonder if that is any part of it, although I doubt it.

I do not think you can even take the update now. I was looking for a way to get Danger Zone and ended up here. My guess for the reason it not being in your purchases is because you would have the option of reinstalling it. So basically they just pulled it because of whatever issue is going on. Which in my opinion is a much better solution than letting it keep screwing everyone over until it's fixed.

Indeed. I agree except it might be nice to include the information that that just might happen on any and all App Store info so that people do not become concerned. There are a lot of folks out there who do not read forums. They just think it's their machines, and the way Apple keeps everything like this secret, it isn't easy to find out it is not the specific computer or system. Anyhow, it will be back one of these days - I am sure Rovio has a weekend of overtime here. 😐

I've been trying to find out any information about what happened, though I was able to go into the iTunes Store and look at my purchase history since iTunes also stores your app purchases and Angry Birds Space was there. Just for some reason was deleted from the App Store probably due to you being able to download the app from the purchase history portion.

The non-retention of scores in the Angry Birds Space update is not even acknowledged in the bug list at rovio. And, as has been noted, Apple pulled the game from the App Store without so much as leaving a note that it's being fixed. At the very least they could re-post the original version.

I was able to apply the 1.1.1 update about 9:45 a.m. EDT May 11. Perhaps you came upon the posting to the App Store as they were just uploading it.

Here is my issue, I have no idea how to get Danger Zone. I have perfected the first two episodes, plus the one added in the update and it still isn't there. There is no option in my game to purchase it.

It seems to have been pulled worldwide, the reason is probably the update. Im sure it will be back as soon as there's a fix.

As for your levels... i would'nt keep my hopes up.

I have the same problem. I emailed rovio about it and it still hasn't been replied to. :/ But anyway, they should make V1.1.1 a fix!
