Solved. Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

Handsfree has audio again now. I just need to set up my WiFi connections again.

Oh, and the screen blanking during calls - I now know it uses the front camera, which isn't very effective at 5am due to darkness.

It does not use the front camera to sense when it is next to your face when on a call. It has a sensor that is just above the speaker on the top of the screen and can be used in any type of light or complete darkness.

I have done the reset of the network settings and now BT works again!!!

The iPhone never did pair with other phones, and will only pair to a computer in the interest of tethering. Bluetooth protocols in the iPhone do not include file sharing.

Thanks for quick reply but I have solved! I had problems in connecting with a nokia headset (it was working till the day before) and with my Mac (for tethering obviously). But now all works fine (I edited my post). Thank you tonefox for the reply.

Installed the update the morning after release day.

Have had no issues. Works with my Ford Sync

system just as it did before, Bluetooth for phone

functions and USB for music. No problems with

any of the apps I use. Battery life may be a little

better in standby but is certainly not worse and

normal use battery life about the same as before.

In my case Reset Network Settings was not helpful. BT still dead.

I have the exact same problem to Bob, my hands free communicates with the iPhone - but the audio is trapped within the iPhone - so "handsfree" is now useless?! Why can't we downgrade, if apple can't be bothered testing such a simple important feature?!

Same boat here. Did the reset two seperate ways, all i keep getting is the discovery things spinning.

I wish I had a back-up with the older iOs. Other suggestions welcome...
