Adobe Flash Player keeps telling me I need to download a new version to protect me computer... And it is interrupting my viewing of videos (e.g.. Yahoo news etc) Is this a virus? or something else?

Go to Adobe's site and check. If it lists an available update, download it from there. If not, it's malware.
